Safetech ALI Range top pull magnetic pool gate latch, supplied as a key lockable set.

The same magnetic top pull action as the standard latch — the magnet pulls the bolt closed as the gate swings to — with a keyed cylinder so the gate can be locked shut when the pool is not in use, over winter, or while the house is empty.

For square aluminium posts and gates. If you do not need the lock, the standard latch is the cheaper option.

Australian Standard AS1926 pool compliant. 10 year manufacturer warranty.

Materials and care

Toughened safety glass — 12mm, to AS1288 and AS2208, NATA certified. Wash with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Never use abrasive pads or scourers.

Powder-coated aluminium — rinse with fresh water every few months, and more often near the coast where salt builds up. A mild detergent lifts anything the hose leaves behind.

Stainless steel, 316 and G2205 marine grade — rinse with fresh water. Light surface tea staining is normal in coastal air and is not corrosion of the steel itself; a proprietary stainless cleaner removes it and restores the finish.

Avoid pool chemicals splashing onto hardware, abrasive cleaners, and steel wool, which leaves particles behind that rust and stain.
